    Waiting On God’s Timing

Due to the depth and relevance of this article we have decided to republish it. We pray it is a blessing to your heart. Original Publish Date Dec 3, 2011 Waiting on God’s timing is one of the hardest things that a Christian has to do. Sometimes it feels like our prayers are going unheard. Of course, this is not the case. But the feeling is so real. The verse below, Isaiah 49:23, is one that spoke to my heart a few years ago. At that time things did not seem, by appearance, to be going very well in our lives.  Sometimes reading the Old Testament can almost seem cumbersome.…

If God Be For Us, Who Can Be Against Us?

Due to the great relevance and depth of this article we have decided to republish it here in our Articles Section. Original publish date, April 8, 2012… Have you ever had a day where you felt it couldn’t get any better? There are some days that we know God is intervening and working everything out for His glory. Romans 8:31 challenges our modus operandi , our way of operating. This verse states: “What shall we then say of these? If God be for us, who can be against us?” Romans 8:31 Yes, we have trials in this life, hard times, depressing circumstances. But there is also the joy of the…

    Ye Must Be Born Again

Our eternal residence is a fact that all of us must face. Our life is even a vapor that appeareth for a little time and then vanisheth away. God is the giver of life and also in control of when we cross the threshold of eternity. Sometimes God puts a situation in our lives to remind us of the fragility. This crashed Grand Am was sadly wrecked when a 21 year old lady was driving home under the influence. She was killed instantly when she crossed the center line and hit an oncoming vehicle. She died instantly. The Bible promises His children that the instant our soul departs from our…

Three Forks is about 8 miles west of Manhattan on I-90. It is home to attractions such as the Headwaters State Park, golf course, and Sacajawea Hotel. The Trinity in the Bible

Trinity is one of those words we have all heard, but what does it really mean? From the beginning of time, or almost the very beginning, the concept was actually introduced. Some argue that the term, ‘Trinity’ is not in the Bible? Are there times when well known words are not in the Scriptures? So let’s explore the Trinity in the Bible. The Trinity From Genesis Genesis is the first book of the Old Testament. Genesis means beginning. Through its 50 chapters a few thousand years of history is traced. In Genesis 1:26 we see: 26 And God said, Let  make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them…

    What is Faith in God?

This world is absorbed with only wanting to believe in what they can see. They call our steadfast faith in God, “blind faith”. Instead of placing an unwavering belief in the Almighty God, this world strives to place science in place of God himself. How many times have we heard “science proves!”? Science that is observed is fascinating. But what gets scarey is when they try to present their hypotheses and speculations they draw from their observations as fact. So what is faith in God and how does science fit into a Godly world view? Measure of Godly Faith Faith is something which cannot be measured in pounds, ounces, or…

Faith in God That You Can See!

Faith is a topic written about often in the Bible and criticized daily by the world. The Lord Jesus Christ Himself says that faith is something that you can see! How can that be? Let’s look at Matthew 9:2 first. Bible Verse About Faith This is probably my favorite Bible verse about faith. Matthew 9:2 And, behold, they brought to him a man sick of palsy, lying on a bed: and Jesus seeing their faith said unto the sick of the palsy, Son, be of good cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee. Notice the words, and Jesus seeing their faith. Their actions made their faith visible to the world to…

Beginning with Rejoicing ~The Joy of the Lord

Each morning is a new day. Let’s put a smile on your face and begin by praising God! Let the first thought of the day be, “Thank you Lord for my spouse, my kids, the sun that’s shining in the window, or [whatever applies to you]. There has to be something you can be thankful for, even if it is as simple as just the air you are breathing. Depression is like a coat with pockets that are filled with lead weights. The more depressed we are, the more lead weights are stacked into our pockets. So let me share with you my thoughts of beginning with rejoicing and the…

Thoughts About Israel Holocaust Remembrance Day

Though it has been almost 50 years since the end of World War II, we should never forget the cruelty and injustices dealt to the Jewish people during that time. Tomorrow, April 28th, 2014 is Israel’s annual Holocaust Remembrance Day. For two minutes tomorrow morning air raid sirens will blow and individuals will stop, even getting out of their cars, and bow their heads in remembrance of those who died during those world shaking days when Hitler’s wrath was poured out upon a people, a country, and even the world. A recent article I read stated that an estimated 6 million Jews lost their lives, accounting for about one-third of…

What Does the Bible Say About Gambling?

Gambling is not specifically mentioned in the Bible, but there are principles in the Bible that teach how to live for God. From our very first visit to Montana we discovered that some forms of gambling are legal across the state. You can be driving miles from one of the larger cities and come to a gas station that feels in the middle of nowhere and find a casino. The Bible does not have specific verses the mention the internet, TV, radio, and entertainment but there are Biblical standards we must listen to and follow. By reading and understanding the Bible we can discern what programs to watch, the music…
